Privacy

Privacy.

Borel.xyz may receive commercially sensitive enquiries. The site is built to collect the minimum information needed to respond, and no more.

What is collected

What you type into Ask Borel or a contact form: your name, an email address, the company you represent where you provide it, and a description of what you are trying to solve. Basic campaign parameters are recorded where present, so it is possible to tell how an enquiry arrived.

Consent

Nothing is stored from an enquiry until you confirm, on the form, that it may be. The time you gave that confirmation is recorded alongside the enquiry, together with the version of this page that was published when you gave it — currently 2026-08-29. Editing this page changes what future visitors agree to and nothing about what you already did.

Automated classification

Your description is classified so it reaches the right place. That classification is rule-based: a fixed set of keywords and phrases decides, and the result is one of a fixed list of destinations. Where a language model is configured, it may refine a result the rules were not confident about and write a one-sentence summary for Christian Alexandre to read — it cannot invent a destination, and it makes no financial, legal, regulatory or suitability decision. If it is unavailable, the rules decide alone and your enquiry is unaffected. No hidden model reasoning is stored.

Newsletter

Subscribing sends one confirmation email and nothing else. Until you use the link in it, no briefing will ever be sent to that address — so entering an address that is not yours achieves nothing. Every briefing carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately without a reply from anyone.

Analytics

This site records a small number of first-party conversion events — that an enquiry was started, which category it routed to, that a submission completed. These carry no enquiry text, no name and no email address, and they are not sent to a third-party analytics provider. No non-essential cookies are set.

How it is used

To read your enquiry, route it to the right business or person, and reply. Nothing more.

What is not done

  • Submitted content is not used to train models.
  • Your information is not sold, and is not shared with vendors who do not need it to deliver a reply.
  • Documents are not collected through this site.
  • Enquiry records are never exposed publicly.

Where it is held

In one PostgreSQL database, operated for this site alone. Enquiry records are reachable only through an authenticated administrative area; there is no public sign-up for it, and no page anywhere on this site renders an enquiry to a visitor. Where an enquiry is forwarded to a CRM, that connection is configured explicitly and is listed here before it is used — at present, none is.

Removal

Write to b@borel.xyz from the address you used, and say which of the two you want:

  • Remove my details. Your name, contact details and the text of your enquiry are erased. A record that an enquiry arrived, and where it routed, remains — with nothing in it that identifies you.
  • Delete the record. The whole row goes, along with any Ask Borel session attached to it.

Both are done from the administrative area directly, so there is no step in either that depends on someone building something first. You will be told which was done.
